Leader in food for years, the Siag group that boasts decades of experience, with the affirmation of its own over the Ocean, has decided today to offer its opportunities to the European market, focusing on land that has always produced quality food for much of the globe, and that has always brought enormous passions in flavors, our beloved Italy.
Coffee has as genesis various legends, including that of an Ethiopian farmer, who brought to graze his sheep in a field yet unknown to him, and after having eaten these, the berries and coffee leaves present in it, the same ones at night did not sleep as usual, but they were full of energy, and the farmer, surprised and displeased, decided to burn every vegetable form of this unusual field, realizing however that from the cooking of the seeds came a pleasant infusion, and decided at this point to regrow the seed.
In the 15th century, coffee began to be known in Syria and then in Egypt, before reaching the Ottoman kingdom in the old city of Constantinople, where it was consumed at the main meeting places. In the late 1500s coffee was brought to Germany, then to England, France and then on to the rest of Europe. History therefore requires us to keep high the roots of an’ expression of flavors that is much more than a simple moment to enjoy, we have the obligation to carry forward over the years a product that comes from very far away and above all which estimates a current consumption of 4 billion cups per day, we have the duty to enhance what people in every part of the world appreciate each in their own way.
Siag imports directly from the most valuable raw coffee crops, to then bake and allocate to various packaging, we aim at the real satisfaction of our customers, because they are not for us simple consumers of our product, but an integral part of our group.
Siag is located in Naples and is led by Neapolitans, always people experienced in the production of coffee, not by chance Siag counts in his staff for the selection and cooking of beans, Don Ciro, a young man of just 74 years old who struggles every day with the strict quality control of each single coffee ready for delivery.
